Cherryl Fountain Watercolour Course All courses run from 10.00 am to 4.30 pm (tutored) and from 4.30 pm – 6.00 pm (untutored) with a wonderful buffet lunch, morning and afternoon tea and coffee included in the course fee. Please inform us of any individual dietary requirements. Flint House is placed on the sea edge and the studio is large, light and airy. To ensure that the students receive lots of individual attention and help, numbers are strictly limited. The artist Cherryl Fountain has been a professional watercolourist for thirty years. Cherryl has been academically trained at Reading University where she gained a degree in Fine Art and as a post graduate student at the Royal Academy Schools for three years. Cherryl’s watercolours are stunning intricate observations of life. This two day course provides a great foundation for the budding watercolour artist, but there is so much information to take in that many people come back time after time. Cherryl will take you through the creative process one step at a time. Cherryl will begin by giving a brief introductory, informal talk about watercolours and will include examples from her own portfolio. Cherryl will teach her particular method of watercolour painting, using dry brush techniques but will pay attention to the basic skills required for observational work. Tuition and individual attention will be friendly, and constructive, and a number of people return to Cherryl’s courses due to the relaxed and inspiring atmosphere. Both beginners and experienced artists are welcome in the exciting venue of Flint House.   Price: £150.00 (Euro;225.00). Deposit of £50 (Euro;75.00) to be paid on booking. Materials: Please bring your own artist’s materials. Cherryl will be happy to provide some of her own materials to supplement your own if necessary.
